The Fee-Free Training program represents a joint initiative between the Commonwealth and the Western Australian Government, designed to enhance the skill sets of Australians. Launching on January 1st, 2023, the initiative provides a variety of courses at no cost to participants. Its success has led to an extension through 2024, underscoring a sustained dedication to making education and training more accessible.
The program concentrates on priority industry sectors with the objective of cultivating WA’s skilled workforce, bolstering employers and businesses, and fostering job and career prospects for all Western Australians.
