Company Background

My Right Choice was established by Jubran Yousif to provide high quality services to people with disability.

Jubran lives with a physical disability himself, as a result of a car accident in 1993, so he understands the importance of having high quality services. He established My Right Choice to ensure people with disability could access the high quality services they needed.

Jubran arrived in Australia as a refugee from Iraq with his wife and two children in 2015. He understands the difficulties and obstacles of fitting-in, but in a short time, he has made some remarkable achievements as a result of his hard work and dedication.

Jubran is passionate about helping others with disability achieve their goals, just like he achieves his own and has been involved in the disability sector through various roles since he arrived in Australia, including as a peer-support person and a specialised support coordinator.

Gateway’s Role

Gateway partnered with My Right Choice to upskill and qualify their Staff through a Nationally Recognised Training Course in Individual Support. The training delivered was centred around understanding the industry’s regulations and providing a quality service around caring for disabled & ageing persons. Since implementing the program, My Right Choice have been gaining in confidence in their Staff’s ability to increase customer satisfaction, their own processes/product knowledge, efficiency and representation in facilities or homes.

Going forward, My Right Choice is growing, so the plan is to keep on rolling out training programs to all new staff, to meet compliance & better service our Industry. My Right Choice is dedicated to providing people with disability in Sydney, the best possible care so that they can continue to live independently at home and achieve their goals.
