Course Description

Course Delivery

Our SIRSS00030 Introduction to Community Pharmacy Skill Set is offered in a classroom-based format at select locations. This course is delivered through Gateway Training Academy, a Registered Training Organisation (RTO ID 32305).

Student Resources Provided

Depending on your chosen method of course delivery, the following resources may be provided:
– Comprehensive workbooks for course material.
– Access to computers and relevant software during classroom sessions.
– A personalised student training plan.
– Guidance from dedicated and qualified trainers
– Specialised assessment tools for effective learning.
Note: The availability of certain resources is contingent upon whether you are enrolled in classroom-based learning or workplace-based training.

Entry Requirements

This course has no specific academic prerequisites. Students are required to provide a Unique Student Identifier (USI) – assistance available – along with photo identification, and meet the necessary language, literacy, and numeracy standards.

 

Certification Upon Completion

Successful completion of this qualification results in:
– A Statement of Attainment that forms part of the qualification SIR30116 Certificate III in Community Pharmacy.

Upon completing this skill set, graduates of the six (6) units of competency can advance to the SIR30116 Certificate III in Community Pharmacy. This certificate will allow participants to develop their knowledge and service skills further to meet customer needs and contribute to the overall health and wellbeing of the community.
