To enrol in a course with Gateway Training Academy, you’ll need a Unique Student Identifier (USI).
The USI is a nationally recognised student number that keeps track of your training records and results across all registered training providers. It allows you to access a complete record of your completed qualifications and units in one place.
This system is linked to the National Vocational Education and Training (VET) Data Collection, ensuring your achievements are stored securely and easily accessible whenever you need them.
From 1st January 2015, it has been a government requirement for all students enrolling in VET courses to have a USI.
Setting up a USI is quick and simple. Gateway Training Academy can assist you with the process during enrolment, or you can apply directly via the Australian Government’s website.
