Pharmacy Assistant Training Course

SIRCIND002 Support the Supply of Pharmacy Medicines and Pharmacist Only Medicines, is a foundational unit in the SIR20116 Certificate II and SIR30116 Certificate III in Community Pharmacy. It is essential for those advising on or supplying scheduled medicines in pharmacies and ensures compliance with federal, state, and territory laws, as well as the Pharmacy Board of Australia Guidelines for supplying Pharmacy Medicines (S2) and Pharmacist Only Medicines (S3). 

This unit is also a prerequisite for many product knowledge competencies in these qualifications. Pharmacy and dispensary assistants use this unit to understand and apply regulatory requirements when supplying scheduled medicines under a pharmacist’s direct supervision.
